UNIC brand is top of the line commercial espresso machines that have proven simplicity to operate and maintain. Inquiries from high volume locations & Corporate inquiries are welcome.

If you have purchased a used UNIC espresso machine, try to obtain the service manual from the seller or order one from Services Unlimited, Inc. Take a few minutes to review the information listed below and identify identify the model correctly by the maodel number and year of manufacture. When placing order for parts, mention the correct model and part number from the diagrams manual.

There are following three categories based on the year of manufacture:

Category-1 = Models manufactured in 1996 or earlier. (Pre-Pro models)

Category-2 = Models manufactured in or after 1996.(Pro models)

Category-3 = Models introduced in 2004. (Latest models)

Category-1 = UNIC 1996 or earlier MODELS 

1- - A traditional espresso machine for use of Coffee beans, in one two and three group sizes. Each group has its own electronic fill box and a  touch pad for espresso dose programming. In a two group machine, there will be two electronic fill boxes and two Dose selection pads.

2-Torino - This is a basic Diva espresso machine with a Torino group head. Almost all parts are interchangeable with Diva parts. 

3- Phoenix - Phoenix model is an Illy Cafe exclusive, marketed for selling a specific size of coffee pod sold exclusively by Illy. Originally it is a Diva espresso machine with a patented Illy pod group ring and filter holder. The Illy group head can be converted to Italian coffee group for use of regular ground coffee.(Order part # ID116 = conversion kit for conversion from Illy group to Italian coffee group). 

All Phoenix models use Vibrating pumps.  A vibrating pump generates the same pressure (10 to 15 Bar) for extracting espresso drinks. It can be used for 120 seconds at a stretch and works well in espresso machines. A contact thermo-fuse protects the motor from over-heatig when it is used for longer duration.

The Phoenix  electronic control boxes are same as in a Diva model.

There are two different models within the old Phoenix line of machines.

3A- Phoenix model with a dosing device. The touch pad in this model is part # DV03AX.

3B- Phoenix model without a dosing device. The electronic box in Phoenix without dosing device is part # DV61AX   

4- Model XI- This model operates with halo sensor magnet installed in the filter holder. When the filter holder is locked in position, the magnet activates the solenoid valve and the pump to dispense espresso. The dose setting for single or double shot is programmed by adjusting the position of Magnets in the filter holder.

Category-2 = UNIC 1996 or later PRO Models. 

In the year 1996 UNIC introduced the PRO models. (Diva Pro and Phoenix Pro). The important change in these models was in the electronic control boxes. The electronic control boxes in Pro models combine the autofill control and touch pad, in a single box.

Category-3 = UNIC Models introduced in May 2004

Phoenix-R - This is a model identical to the Phoenix Pro except for the external body is more sleek & elegant.

Rumba - This new model is same as Diva Pro with improved external design.

Tango - The super automatic modular espresso machine.

Important note: To order electronic control boxes, please use the table below to identify the part number correctly. The Electronic refill and control boxes are not returnable.
